Bharatanatyam shots by Karthik

The highlight of my recent month long vacation to India was my wife Ramya's Bharatanatyam performance at Bangalore. These masterpiece pictures shot by my dear friend, Karthik - a bangalore based practicing photographer (contact karthik.cs@gmail.com) are spellbinding in my view.

oh yeah the tricky balancing one is my fav too, i just can't stop admiring it... in my opinion the composition defines the blank space in the pic like no other :)

The lighting, the colours the moment, everything is too good. The B&W looks really kewl. Hats off...which camera, which lens ?

Thanks Pavan, all credits to Karthik. He used a prime lens and I am not sure of the full details.
