Jungle resorts and Lodges at K Gudi is a great holiday for anyone really. Such well done tents and cottages with real good service and food, and the best part being any number of open jeep safari's you'll be taken out on - all this for a decent price. Although, apparently all the wild cats now know very well where these safari jeeps run and have decided to hide from them.
When I came to the UK, one of the first things I was notably impressed was with the way people document things here. I was overly pleased when I wanted to take a walk in my local park at Bristol and happened to find trails described in great detail on the internet that really makes only for a easy 10 min walk around the corner of my house. And then all those countless websites with free info about walking trails across the nation giving metre by metre detail - phew! Unlike that, in India there isn't a lot of documented information even about a popular travel hot spot. Although, off late with the blogging culture and the IT crowd, there're more and more journals written online that get handy for those who are too fussy about planning a lot before a trip. Cause I don't remember planning trips in India when I was a kid, only remember simply executing them on the go - buying tickets from the train TC and asking the rickshaw guy on arrival to recommend a good lodge that aint showing a 'house full' board etc. Anyway, hope google lists pages like these on the top if there aint too many pics showing the hammocks at JLR BR hills :-)
